Blue: The Blue is a combination of Black and Opal. The coat is steel blue-grey to the roots on the back
and belly. The eyes are black and ears are grey.

Chocolate: The Chocolate is a combination of Black and Black Eyed Argente and has a dark chocolate brown
coat to the roots on with black eyes and grey ears.

Dove: The Dove has a dark dove grey-brown coat to the roots, with red eyes and pale ears from the combination
of Argente and Black.

Red Eyed Lilac: The Red Eye Lilac has a soft lilac-grey coat to the roots, red eyes and flesh ears from the

Black Eyed White and Pink Eyed White (Dilute Platinum): This is not truely a "self coloured hamster" as
the white is produced by combining a colour with a diluting gene and the Platinum pattern gene. The coat is pure white but
may have a few coloured hairs around the head. When a colour with black eyes is used the eyes are black and the ears are flesh
but may have some dark spots. When red eyed colours are used the eyes are red and the ears flesh so the hamster has the appearance
of an Albino.

Normal: The normal colour is a brownish grey with dark grey undercolour and a thin dark grey dorsal stripe,
and an ivory belly. The side arches tend to have distinct cream tinge to them. The eyes are black and the ears dark grey.

Argente: The Argente has a rich ginger coat with a blue-grey undercolour, a thin brown-grey dorsal stripe,
ivory belly, red eyes and flesh coloured ears.

Opal: The Opal has a blue-grey coat with a grey undercolour and grey dorsal stripe and ivory belly. The
side arches tend to have distinct cream tinge to them. The eyes are black and the ears dark grey.

Black Eyed Argente: The Black Eyed Argente (or Sandy as it is sometimes referred) is brownish-tan with a
dark grey undercolour, dark grey dorsal stripe, black eyes and brown ears.
Albino: The Albino has white fur to the roots, red eyes and flesh coloured ears.

Black: The Black is black to the roots and has black eyes and grey ears. It often has a white stripe under
the chin and may have a patch of white on the belly.
|
Umbrous: This is a darkening gene which can be combined with other colours. On the normal grey colour it
produces a hamster that has a sooty grey/brown appearance.
