Picture of Dilute Platinum Black Eyed White and Pink Eyed White (Dilute Platinum): This is not truely a "self coloured hamster" as the white is produced by combining a colour with a diluting gene and the Platinum pattern gene. The coat is pure white but may have a few coloured hairs around the head. When a colour with black eyes is used the eyes are black and the ears are flesh but may have some dark spots. When red eyed colours are used the eyes are red and the ears flesh so the hamster has the appearance of an Albino.

Normal Campbells Russian Hamster Normal: The normal colour is a brownish grey with dark grey undercolour and a thin dark grey dorsal stripe, and an ivory belly. The side arches tend to have distinct cream tinge to them. The eyes are black and the ears dark grey.

Argente Campbells Russian Hamster Argente: The Argente has a rich ginger coat with a blue-grey undercolour, a thin brown-grey dorsal stripe, ivory belly, red eyes and flesh coloured ears.

Opal Campbells Russian Hamster Opal: The Opal has a blue-grey coat with a grey undercolour and grey dorsal stripe and ivory belly. The side arches tend to have distinct cream tinge to them. The eyes are black and the ears dark grey.

Black Eyed Argente Campbells Russian Hamster Black Eyed Argente: The Black Eyed Argente (or Sandy as it is sometimes referred) is brownish-tan with a dark grey undercolour, dark grey dorsal stripe, black eyes and brown ears.

Albino Campbells Russian Hamster Albino: The Albino has white fur to the roots, red eyes and flesh coloured ears.

Black Campbells Russian Hamster Black: The Black is black to the roots and has black eyes and grey ears. It often has a white stripe under the chin and may have a patch of white on the belly.

Umbrous Campbells Russian Hamster Umbrous: This is a darkening gene which can be combined with other colours. On the normal grey colour it produces a hamster that has a sooty grey/brown appearance.

fun fact: hamsters enjoy raisins
